Nancy Grace vs. Boring Cooper

After watching an hour of Nancy Grace and an hour of Anderson Cooper I realized they are both sharing the news based on their own opinions but they are doing it in different ways. Both of them make their position on whatever topic they are talking about very clear right from the start. It seems like the whole show their only goal is to not share the news but to make you feel the same way they do.
Nancy Grace was discussing an unsolved murder of a pregnant veterinary technician, and boy was she mad! Although, this is an unsolved murder Nancy makes is very clear that she thinks the father of the unborn baby, who is also a married man, is the murderer. She thinks the man killed the girl because she was pregnant and he didn’t want a baby to ruin his current marriage. Nancy had three different people on the show discussing this murder case. Two of them agreed that the father of the unborn baby was the murderer and one of them believed that the wife of the man could be the murderer. Nancy Grace didn’t allow the man who thought the wife was the murderer to speak a whole lot and every time he did get a chance to say anything she would say something back that would make him look like he didn’t know what he was talking about and was an idiot. Even though the man should have had more of a chance to talk about his opinion, I really enjoyed when Nancy did this to him. His face would get red every time and I thought he looked like he wanted to cry a few times. This was so funny and really made me want to keep watching to see what outrageous thing Nancy would say next. Another way Nancy draws you in to think her opinion is right is by playing dramatic music and having an on-going sad slide show of pictures in the bad ground of the girl who was murdered. When Nancy would talk about the man she thinks murdered her she would put up the same big mean mug shot of him. Although, Nancy had no solid evidence that proved this man was the murderer she made me a believer by the end of the show.
Anderson Cooper was talking about tap water in Japan and if it was safe for infants to drink. I don’t think Anderson could have been any less enthusiastic about the news he was sharing. He makes it clear that he thinks the situation in Japan is not good but he just doesn’t show any emotion the way Nancy does. Not showing emotion is probably a more professional way to deliver the news but it definitely makes it a lot more boring. The whole time I was watching Anderson I was wondering what Nancy would have to say about the infants in Japan and I bet she would be really mad about it; she would be so mad that she would make me mad too.
Any news commentator that you watch is probably going to have a bias opinion on whatever topic they are talking about. I prefer that if they are going to be bias they should just come right out and say it like Nancy and not try to hide it by “trying” to seem neutral like Anderson.
